リベ友とのラーメンに行ってきた。新橋オフィスに集合してからのはずが、偶然にもオフィスのエントランスに遭遇。オフィスに入らず、そのままラーメン屋へ。
I met up with my friend from Libe City and we had ramen. We were originally planning to meet at the Shimbashi Office, but we ran into each other at the entrance of the building, so we decided to skip the office and go to a ramen shop instead.
前回と系統は同じ二郎系ラーメンで、違うお店に行ってきた。お互いに行ったことがないお店。わたしが会社の上司に教えてもらったお店で、有名店だったので、てっきり並んでいるものと思っていたら、そんなことはなく、到着とともに着席。
This was the second time we’ve been to a ramen shop, and it’s a famous Jiro-style ramen place. We’ve never had the ramen shop before, but my boss recommended it. Despite its popularity, we didn’t have to wait in line.
あまり待たずして着丼。前回の野菜少ない問題は解決され、２人とも今回のラーメンには大満足。
The noodles were served quickly, and we both ordered ramen with extra vegetables to reflect our experience last time. It was delicious!
その後は、カフェに流れての感想共有。というよりも、お互いの近況報告がメインだった。ようやく買ったクルマを手放したいわたし、職場復帰したけど、また休職しいよいよ辞めようと考える彼女。この前会った方と同じく彼女も海外はいろいろなところに行ってみたいそう。
After eating, we went to a cafe to chat about the ramen and catch up. I shared my dream of buying a GT-R, and she mentioned that she’s thinking about quitting her job again, even though she recently returned to work. She also wants to travel to many other countries, like another friend I met last week.
その話を聞いて思う。もし、海外旅行に行くタイミングでオフ会を開催すれば、ついてくる人がいるのではないかと。それってもしかしたらおもしろいことになるのではないかと。やりたいことリストに、また１つアイディアが加わった。
Inspired by her, I had an idea: I could organize a meetup for friends when I travel overseas. That would be fun! I added it to my bucket list.
