妻が風邪でダウン、長男の幼稚園も休みだったので、お守をしないといけない。
Since my wife got sick and my son’s kindergarten was closed today, I had to take care of him.
両親も対応ができないとのこと。なので、今日から予定していた北海道出張をキャンセルし、仕事も休みをもらった。
Unfortunately, my parents couldn’t help us either, so I had to cancel my business trip to Hokkaido and take the day off.
せっかくの平日休み、外は快晴だったので、ツインリンクもてぎに長男と出かけてきた。
Since it was a rare opportunity to have a free weekday with sunny weather, I decided to take my son to Mobility Resort Motegi.
まず、思っていた以上に遠かった。けど、平日だったこともあり、遊具は遊び放題、ほとんど利用者はおらず、フリーパスで入った分の元を取ることができた。
First of all, it was farther than I expected. However, because it was a weekday, we were able to enjoy all the attractions without much waiting, so I felt like we got our money’s worth.
遊具はとてもきれいにメンテナンスされていて、さすが有名なサーキット場だけのことはある。しかし、子供っぽいものが多く、小学校低学年までかなといった印象。それに対し、値段が高い。２人で１万円以上支払った。値段なりに楽しめたかというと少々疑問符が残る。
Also, since it’s operated by one of Japan’s famous circuits, the attractions were well maintained. However, most of them are geared towards kids, probably best suited for younger elementary students. Despite that, the entrance fee was quite expensive—we paid over 10,000 yen for a one-day ticket. I’m not sure if it was really worth the cost.
