お昼を食べ、レストランの駐車場でクルマに乗り込もうとすると、知らない人に声をかけられた。
When we were about to leave the parking lot of the restaurant after lunch, someone spoke to us.
20代の若くてカッコイイ男性である。彼もフェアレディZに乗っていて、クルマが好きなよう。家族連れでGT-Rに乗っていることに感動していた。
He was a good-looking guy in his 20s who owns a sports car called a Fairlady Z and clearly has a passion for cars. He was impressed that I owned a GT-R, even with a family.
たしかに、彼の言う通り、GT-Rは家族で乗るクルマではない。でも、４人乗りでギリギリいけるし、がんばってお金を稼げば家族でも乗れるようになれると、彼に伝えた。
As he mentioned, the GT-R isn’t typically seen as a family car. However, I advised him that he could still get such a supercar while having a family because the GT-R accommodates four passengers.
道端で知らない人に声をかけるのはGT-Rを買ってから初めて。これもGT-Rならではのイベントである。
This was my first time being approached by someone about my car. These kinds of interactions are some of the unique experiences that come with owning a GT-R.
