長男が風邪を引いたため、病院に行ってきた。
I took my son to the hospital because he got sick.
いつものクリニックが休みだったので、すぐ近くの総合病院へ。土曜日ということもあり、とても混んでいて１時間も待った。
Since our regular clinic was closed, we went to the general hospital next to the clinic. Being a Saturday, it was very crowded, and we had to wait for an hour.
ちょうど１年前にもあったけど、保険証の切替タイミングで病院に行くことがよくある。そもそも、保険証を切り替える頻度が多いのも原因だけど、医療費の全額をいったん支払わなければならないのは、ホントに面倒。
We had a similar situation just a year ago when we had to go to the hospital while our insurance cards were switching. There are too many instances of switching insurance cards, and it really bothers me to pay all the medical bills temporarily.

マイナンバーカードが保険証代わりになっても、こういうときに使えないのでは意味がない。全くもって無駄なシステムである。
