以前の会社の先輩と白河ラーメンをたべに行ってきた。
I had Shirakawa-style ramen with my former colleague.
もともと、県内のところの同系ラーメンを出すお店でと考えていたけど、GT-Rのドライブも兼ねてというので、白河まで足を伸ばしてきた。
Originally, we were going to visit a ramen shop in our town that serves the same style of noodles. However, we decided to drive to the original shop in Shirakawa instead.
彼は、一番初めの会社でとくにお世話になった先輩で、唯一、今でも話が合う人である。他の人たちは、とても保守的で夢を追いかけたりはしないため、話が合わない。
He is one of the most reliable seniors from my first company and the only one I still get along with. I couldn’t connect well with others in the company because they were very conservative and didn’t pursue their dreams.
そんな気が合う先輩であるからこそ、今日も予定していた近くのお店から急遽、本場の味を食べに行くことで合意できた。ラーメンがおいしかったのは言うまでもないが、久しぶりの再会に、とても楽しかった。
Since we get along so well, we spontaneously agreed to go to the original ramen shop. Needless to say, the ramen was fantastic, and we had an enjoyable time catching up.
こうして、長く付き合える友人がいるのは、とてもうれしい。今後も、そういった仲間とだけ付き合っていきたい。
I’m very pleased to have such reliable friends for so long. I’m going to stay in touch with those friends from now on.
