今日は、３か月に１度の歯の定期健診に行ってきた。
Today, I had my quarterly dental check-up.
これまでと違う点が１つだけある。それは、マイカーであるGT-Rで行く、というところ。歯医者の駐車場は狭く段差もあるので、目の前のドラックストアに停めて歯医者へ。３人とも、とくに問題なし。
The only difference this time was that we drove there in my GT-R. Since the parking lot at the dental clinic is narrow and has a steep entrance, I parked my car at the drug store parking lot across from the clinic. Fortunately, we all had good results from the check-up, which was a nice confirmation that our teeth are well-maintained.
いつも問題なしだけど、それでいい。３人とも歯が健康である証拠である。その後は、わたしの実家へ。もともと停められないと思っていたけど、実際に行ってみると、意外にもガレージまで進入することができ、止められた。
Afterward, we went to my parents’ house. Initially, I didn’t think I could get into the garage due to the narrow road in front of their house. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could.
スーパーに止めてくるしかないと思っていて、セキュリティ面が心配だったけど、結果して杞憂に終わった。実家に入れないと思っていた中で、入れるとわかったのは大きい。これで、実家に行くときは、GT-Rで行ける。
I thought I would have to park my car at the nearest supermarket and was concerned about security risks, but it turns out my worries were unnecessary. Successfully parking the GT-R in their garage was a great relief. Now, we can visit my parents’ house without any concerns about parking.
