今日は納車されたGT-Rにて妻とドライブ。結婚記念日ということで、きちんと休みをとって夫婦の時間を過ごした。
I went driving with my wife in our new GT-R. Since it was our wedding anniversary, I took the day off to spend time with her.
そんなクルマで夫婦で向かった先は、大田原牛で有名なお店。ステーキランチをそれぞれ注文。わたしは、脂っぽさが体に堪えたものの、妻は大満足だったそう。
Today’s destination was a famous restaurant known for its Otawara beef. We both ordered the steak lunch set. Although I felt heavy in the stomach from the beef’s fat, she had no issues and was completely satisfied with the steak.
運転しながら周りを気にしてみて見ると、クルマに注目している人が一定数いた。やはり、男性が圧倒的に多く、中には手を振ってくれる人も。
While driving, I noticed some people looking at my car. Most of them were male, and a few even waved at us.
わたしも、もし同じクルマを見かけたら、間違いなく見てしまう。
Whenever I see the same type of car, I can’t help but keep my eyes on it.
ドライブを終え、幼稚園に迎えに行った後、そのまま電車が見える公園に３人で行ってきた。以前、よく来ていた公園で、ベビーカーでないと歩きでは厳しい場所。今回初めてクルマで来た。あの時、GT-Rで来れるなんて思ってなかった。人生、いつどうなるか、全く予想ができない。
After our drive, we picked up our son from kindergarten and went to a park where we could watch trains. I had been there before with my son, but since it’s a bit far from our house, it’s hard to get there using a stroller. This was the first time we went to the park by car. When I first visited the park, I never thought I’d be able to go there in a GT-R. Life is totally unpredictable.
