You can hear the voice recording for the diary.
As I prepare to leave my current company at the end of this month, I have met with almost all local stakeholders at the project site I’m managing to facilitate the handover.
Over the past week, I introduced my successor and discussed the transition with them. While some were upset with me, most offered their support for my new job.
Additionally, since my friend, the teacher I met at the project site, had already left, I had dinner with other stakeholders every night.
Seeing them outside of a business context, I was reminded of their kindness.
Honestly, I would have liked to stay on my project longer, but I can’t continue working at my current company because it has become unbearable. I truly hope that bringing my project to the next company will be the best decision.
To be continued.
