昨日に続いて、スーパーカー行脚の１日。まず、新幹線がトラブルにより不通になってしまった。幸い、在来線に乗り換えても、大した距離ではないので、都内まで来ることができた。
Continuing from yesterday, I went to check out the supercar for the tour myself. In the morning, there was a maintenance issue with the shinkansen, causing its operation to be suspended. Luckily, I was near Tokyo Station, so I could easily switch to local trains and make it to Tokyo.
でも、それをわざわざ会社に伝えるほど忠誠心を持ち合わせていないので、新幹線でスタックしている体にして、GT-Rを見にいってきた。
On the other hand, since I had already lost loyalty to my current company and didn’t want to disclose my true circumstances, I fibbed to them, claiming I was stuck on the shinkansen and went to a used car shop to check out the GT-R.
今日の感想はヤバい、の一言。昨日との最も大きな違いは乗ったときにほしいかどうか。正直、アヴェンタドールは狭すぎた。買いたくなくなるレベル。
My impression of the car was amazing. The biggest difference from yesterday’s experience was my desire to actually buy the car. Honestly, the interior space of the Aventador was too narrow for my liking, and because of this, I’m no longer interested in purchasing it.
一方で、GT-Rは居住性も十分。かつ、デザインも好きなNISMO仕様だし、価格帯も抑えられていて手が届いてしまう。
However, the GT-R offers comfortable interior space, and I’m drawn to its design and appearance, especially the models made by NISMO. Furthermore, the price is reasonable for what you get.
学生時代、レーシングゲームでずっと使っていた１台が、実車として自分のものになれるチャンスがいまある。買ってしまうべきか、それとも流してしまうべきか、悩む。
Back when I was a student, I used to drive this car in racing video games, and now the opportunity to own it in real life is right in front of me. I’m contemplating whether or not I should go for it.
