昨日は魚料理だったので、今日はいつも先生と行くトンカツ屋へ。
It was the second day of our business trip to my project site. Since we had fish dishes last night, I decided to take him to my favorite pork cutlet shop, where I often go with a teacher friend of mine.
とんかつ定食 松をいつも頼んでいたけど、今回は、怖いもの見たさで最もサイズの大きいジャンボトンカツを２人でそれぞれ注文。
Normally, I order the set meal with a large pork cutlet every time I visit, but this time we decided to try the set meal with the largest pork cutlet for a bit of excitement.
噂通り、いつもの定食サイズの２倍あって初めのインパクトは十分。カレーも追加して、ご飯のおかわりももらって、とても豪勢な食事になった。
As rumored, the size of the cutlet on the dish was double that of the large pork cutlet I usually order, and it left quite an impression on us. We also ordered curry and extra rice to go with it. It was a satisfying meal for both of us.
とはいえ、２人ともに朝昼を食べてなかったので、あっさりと食べきってしまった。
Despite the large amount of food, we managed to finish it all, especially since we had skipped both breakfast and lunch today.
食べきれてしまう自分に驚きつつも、大ボリュームの食事に大満足。ホントにいい出張になった。また新しい会社での彼との仕事に期待したい。
Surprisingly, even though I was initially surprised by how much I ate, I found myself fully satisfied with the hearty meal. This business trip has been very enjoyable, and I’m looking forward to working with him at the next company.
