昨日の輸送路調査後、サイト市街地にある寿司屋で後輩くんといっしょに食事をしてきた。
After the transportation route survey, we dined at a local sushi restaurant recommended by my friends in the area.
わたしが通うサウナ会行きつけのお寿司屋さんで、とてもウマい。わたしも2回目の訪問。なんといっても刺身が絶品で、どれを食べてもおいしかった。絶対に、この前彼と一緒に函館で食べたそれよりもウマい!
It happened to be his favorite restaurant, which he had mentioned to me during our sauna session, and I must say, the sushi was delicious. This was my second visit to the restaurant, and I found their sashimi to be particularly outstanding; every type of fish we tried was excellent. Without a doubt, it surpassed the sushi we had in Hakodate during our last business trip.
併せて、ウニもいただいた。地元でも名産のウニ、今回は残念ながら時期ではないので養殖になってしまったけど、申し分ない。でも理想をいうなら、旬のウニを食べてほしかった。
We also indulged in some sea urchin, as the city is renowned for it. Unfortunately, since it’s not currently in season, we had to settle for farm-raised sea urchin. Nonetheless, it was still quite tasty.
昨年来た時にもらったウニはマジで別物。これまでの常識を覆す味だった。
Ideally, I would have preferred to try it in season, as I recall having an unbelievable experience with it last year, which really set a high standard.
また、このお店は海苔巻きが絶品で、紹介してくれた人をはじめ地元の方々に教えてもらった食べ方で、たらふく食べた。
Additionally, the restaurant offered some delightful sushi rolls. I ordered a few based on recommendations from stakeholders, including the person who recommended the restaurant.
