Steps Towards Change: Navigating the Interview Process for a Promising Opportunity

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

I attended a casual chat with the country manager of the company recommended by my reliable colleague. Since it was my first time accepting a referral job offer, I was kind of nervous until the interview. However, the country manager simply confirmed my thoughts and opinions on work, so I didn’t need to stress too much during the interview.

The result of the interview was good. He mentioned that I will have one more round of interviews, and the next one will be the final step for the job change. This will also be conducted in English. Since I have experienced a full English interview before, I’m not too concerned about it. I will focus on answering the interviewer’s questions.

The work environment seems promising because the country manager has a flexible mindset, and my reliable colleague is the head of my department.

Anyway, the potential income growth is unbelievable. If I pass the interview process, it would be a significant step forward since the income growth is incredible. Furthermore, I’m still surprised that the proposed income excludes both my commuter pass and performance bonus.

Overall, it seems like a good workplace for me, considering I have good colleagues and a high salary.

To be continued.
