Beyond the Horizon: Exploring Career Opportunities

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

I heard some remarkable stories from him during our car ride to the site visit two days ago.

Unbelievably, his highest annual income reached 130 million yen. What struck me as ridiculous was that he was merely a project manager, not even the head of his department.

He disagreed, saying it wasn’t ridiculous at all. In his view, a project manager is the individual on the front lines who generates profits for the company by effectively managing projects. He emphasized that a reputable company recognizes and rewards those who contribute to its bottom line.

He regarded his former company as reputable and hoped ours would be similar, especially since we’re expanding our market share with minimal human resources. However, his hopes were dashed, leading him to decide to change jobs.

He also suggested that I consider joining such a company, as he believed that staying with our current company would be a waste of my time. I’m eager to explore the opportunities beyond the world I know today.

To be continued.
