仕事の帰りに寄ったリベシティオフィスにて、先日大相撲を一緒に観戦した人がいたので、声をかけてみた。
When I stopped by the Liberal Arts City Office on my way home from work, I ran into a friend I met at the meet-up for watching the sumo championship. We struck up a conversation, and it was nice to catch up with him.
彼はわたしのことを覚えていてくれ、その場にいた方を含め、大相撲や各人の将来のゴールなど、メッチャ楽しく語り合った。
He remembered me, so I was able to join in the conversation with others. We discussed topics ranging from the sumo championship to our personal goals, and the conversation was engaging and enjoyable.
オフィスで人と話をするのはとても久しぶりだったので、とても充実した時間になった。
Since it had been a while since I last talked to the members, it was a refreshing experience for me.
もともと面接の準備のために寄ったため、話をするつもりがなかった。イレギュラーな対応に面接の練習が疎かになるも、いいリフレッシュになった。やはり、リベシティでは作業をするのもいいけど、話をしてエネルギーを充電するのがとてもいい。
Originally, I had planned to prepare for an upcoming interview, so I wasn’t intending to spend much time chatting. However, I welcomed the change of plans as it provided a much-needed break from interview preparation. The interaction at the Liberal Arts City Office always leaves me feeling reenergized, more so than working on my side hustles.
明日はリモートワークなので、今日の遅れをしっかり取り戻したい。
As I’ll be working from home tomorrow, I’m focusing on catching up with my interview preparation today.
