決めた！
I’ve made a decision regarding my next steps.
転職は、サイトでお世話になっている先生の異動の是非で決めたい。他力本願な感じになってしまうけど、彼には恩義がある。
I’ll be basing my decision on whether my friend’s teaching position will be transferred. Although my choice relies on external factors, I owe a great deal to him.
彼がサイトに残るのに、自分が離れるのはしたくない。また、もう１年地元の中学校で先生が続くならば、新たな出前授業の可能性だって見えてくる。
Even if he remains in the same city where our project is located, I’m hesitant to move on without him. If he continues teaching at his current school for another year, it presents an opportunity for me to conduct another session there.
出前授業は大きな成果になるし、なにより、わたし自身がやりたい。お金を払ってできるものでもないし、どこでもいいというわけでもない。
Hosting such a session would be a significant accomplishment for me, and I’m eager to do it again. These school sessions aren’t something you can simply buy with money, and I’m selective about where I hold them.
やるなら、同じ中学校で、お世話になった先生のためにやりたい。遅くとも来年の異動ではいなくなってしまうと言っていたし、秋ごろの出前授業を実施したのち、転職活動をスタートさせれば、来年の春には辞められる。今の会社に入ってちょうど２年、タイミングとしてもいいと思う。転職エージェントに相談してみよう。
If I do proceed, I aim to hold the session at the same school as last year, for his sake and the benefit of his students. He mentioned that he may be transferred to another school next year. If so, I’ll aim to schedule the session for autumn and kick off my job change activities right after. This would give me the chance to leave my current company by next spring, having worked there for just two years. I plan to discuss this with my recruitment consultant soon.
