今日は、東北地方で、PJサイトの県外に住む地権者に話をしてきた。
I had a discussion with a landowner who resides in the northeast region, outside the city where my project site is located.
結果は、大成功。地権者の方がいい人だったのもあるけど、電力関係に携わっていることから、風車開発に前向きに話を聞いてくれた。
The outcome of the meeting was fantastic. Despite being a pleasant individual, he listened attentively to my explanations, likely due to his background in the same industry as mine.
また、昨年実施した出前授業のことを知っていたのも大きい。というか、その存在を知っていたのが驚きである。メディアも呼んでないし、関係者も学校の先生など限られた人しかいなかったのに、地元のネットワークには驚かさせる。いずれにせよ、いい方向に働いてくれて助かった。
Additionally, our previous session at the school positively influenced this negotiation, as he was familiar with it. It was surprising to learn that he was aware of our session from last year. We hadn’t invited any mass media for advertisements, and there were only a few stakeholders present, most of whom were teachers. Their local networking capabilities were impressive nonetheless, and I was pleased that the session had a positive impact.
それと、朝一でサウナに入れたのもよかった。今度からは、ホテルはサウナがあるところを最優先に泊まろうと思う。サウナでスッキリ、気分を変えて仕事に臨むことができた。
Furthermore, I was able to visit the sauna at the hotel first thing in the morning. I’ve decided to prioritize choosing hotels that offer sauna facilities. After the sauna session, I felt refreshed and was able to focus on my work, even though the meeting was scheduled early in the morning.
