妹家族を自宅に招いてのランチ会。
We had lunch with my sister’s family at our house.
わたしのお気に入りのラーメン屋でのテイクアウトを予定していたけど、ラーメン屋が臨時休業で休みとなってしまった。
Although we had planned to get noodles from my favorite ramen shop, the shop was temporarily closed.
店長が体調不良とのこと。お店から連絡もなく、SNSの発信を見て気がついた。
The reason for the closure was the owner’s illness. I didn’t hear about it directly but found out through social media.
お店側の対応にさすがに当時はイラっとしたけど、向こうも悪気があってやってる訳ではないので仕方ない。やむなく、駅ビルのレストランにて、弁当をテイクアウトして帰った。
While I initially felt irritated by the shop’s sudden closure, I realized it couldn’t be helped, as the owner didn’t intend for this to happen. Consequently, we opted for lunch boxes from a restaurant in the station building.
後日、電話してみると、覚えていてくれ補償をしたいと言ってくれたけど断った。わたしは、そんなことをしてもらわなくても通い続ける!
The next day, I called the shop, and the owner suggested compensating for my canceled order without any prior announcement. However, I declined. I prefer to continue supporting the shop and enjoying their noodles without seeking compensation.
