今日はクリスマス、事前に買っておいたおもちゃを昨夜のうちにリビングに出しておいた。朝長男が起きてくると、朝から大興奮。
It was Christmas Day, and I brought the toy we ordered in advance for my son to the living room. As soon as he saw the toy upon waking up, he was absolutely thrilled, even in the early morning.
買ったものは、今年の夏ごろに購入した木製の外国版プラレール。少し値が張るものの、規格は日本のプラレールと同じだし、列車の連結が磁石でできるので、長男でも手軽に扱えるのが最もいいところ。
His gift was a wooden railway toy that we purchased this summer. While it was a bit pricey, its specifications are similar to the Japanese plastic railway toys. The best part is that the trains easily connect and disconnect because they are magnetic, allowing him to do it independently.
そのせいもあって、今日はいつもよりいうことを聞いてくれた気がする。午前中は、近くの公園に遊びに行き、午後は予防接種に２人で行くも、すんなり家を出られた。
It seems he appreciated the gift, as he listened well to what we said. In the morning, my son and I visited the park, and in the afternoon, we went to the hospital for his vaccination injection. Thankfully, leaving the house went smoothly.
これまでは、妻がいないと行かないという日が続いていたにも関わらず、である。
Despite this, he insisted on going out with his mother on the following days.
この効果が少しでも長続きしてくれればと願う。
