今日から冬休み。
I’ve started my winter vacation today.
昨日は、退社後にも電話がかかってきてぐずぐず言われたけど知ったことではない。関わるのも面倒だし、やるべきことは全て完了したので、テキトーに流してそのまま休みに入っている。
Even though I received some complaints about minor issues after leaving the office last night, I chose not to let it bother me. However, it persisted even during my winter vacation.
とはいえ、外部の関係者からメールは飛んでくるので、作業はしなければならない。休暇中の作業分は、来月に残業代として請求することにする。
Despite having completed all my tasks scheduled for the year, I still received emails and phone calls from project stakeholders, necessitating me to work a few hours. I’ll have to request overtime for these hours next month, during my vacation.
さて、今日は、息子の３歳児検診に行ってきた。もともと息子と２人でいく予定が、わがままもあり結局３人で受診することに。身体測定や歯科検診など、一通りの検査を終えたのに２時間かかった。初日からかなり疲れてしまった。
On another note, we took our son for a medical check-up. Initially, I had planned to take him alone, but he was quite a handful, so my wife joined us. His check-up included various examinations such as a physical and dental check-up, taking around 2 hours to complete. It left me feeling exhausted right at the start of my vacation.
