先週はアジア統括部長に説明したり、学校説明資料を作成したりとやることに追われ、かつ、社長からの横やりが入り、出張が短くなってしまった。今日からの１泊２日である。
I had a lot on my plate last week—explaining the project progress to the APAC manager and preparing a presentation for the upcoming school session. Additionally, my country manager disrupted my business trip plans. Due to these circumstances, I had to reschedule my business trip to just two days.
昼間は、地元の方々に経過報告。夜は、いつもの中華料理屋で２週間後の出前授業の打合せ。
During the trip, I visited stakeholders’ homes to update them on the project’s progress during the day, and in the evening, I had a meeting with the teacher regarding the upcoming session at my favorite Chinese restaurant.
同じ意見を持ち、いっしょに頑張っていこうとする仲間がいるのは、とてもうれしい。社内では、ほとんど期待できないから余計である。
I’m thrilled to have allies who share the same perspective on advancing the project. Finding allies in my current company is quite rare and invaluable.
会社説明用に作ってきた資料も好感触。会社では、ぐずぐず言われたけど、とくに問題はなさそう。あとは発表をブラッシュアップするのみ。
While I received positive feedback on the presentation for the session from the teacher, I encountered negative opinions from my colleagues. There’s room for refinement.
いまの会社、ホントにこの案件が生命線だなと思う。これがなくなってしまったら、完全にやる気もなくなってしまうだろう。
The possibility of my tenure at the current company hinges on the development of my project. If the project were to be terminated, I’m certain I’d leave my job.
