Ramen Adventures: From Tokyo Station to Personal Favorites

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

After reporting to the APAC manager yesterday, I went to Tokyo Station and was craving Jiro Ramen, which boasts a broth simmered with pork belly, pork back fat, and vegetables for an extended period. Unfortunately, the line for the shop was longer than usual, so I opted for Tonkotsu ramen instead.

However, it turned out to be a disappointment. While I liked it, I felt it was similar to the kind of noodles I could get at a ramen shop back home. That left me feeling unsatisfied.

Later that night, I visited my favorite ramen shop, and it fulfilled my craving completely. I’ve been accustomed to their flavors, and it provided me with the satisfaction I was seeking.

I’m hoping to try their dipping noodles soon, but I’ll probably have to wait until next summer for that opportunity to arise again.

To be continued.
