今回の出張は、先日のアジア統括部長との話を受けて、どうやって説得するかを考えるため、地元の方と改めてお会いしての彼らの気持ちを聞いてきた。
I’m currently on a business trip, meeting with local citizens to gather their opinions. The purpose of this trip is to find a way to persuade our APAC manager to proceed with the site survey, which was denied in the previous meeting.
その中で、どなたも心変わりされた方はおらず、むしろ、みんなが積極的に応援してくれた。
During these discussions with the citizens, I found that their intentions towards our project haven’t changed.
中には、差し入れをくれたり、地元のために活動してくれる人を全面的に応援したいといった、とてもうれしいコメントもあった。
Instead, they’ve expressed their support with warm and encouraging comments. Some even provided refreshments and offered to support someone working for their hometown.
わたしとしても、そんな声援に応えたいし、みんなのためになるなら、なんとしても実現したい。
It’s heartening to receive such positive feedback, and it motivates me to meet their expectations and contribute to the development of their community.
まずは、事業化に向けて、やるべきことを１つずつつぶしていきたい。
To start, I plan to tackle the construction tasks one by one.
