Striving for Overseas Missions: Networking with Doctors Without Borders

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

Yesterday, after watching the trains with my son, we came across an advertising campaign by Doctors Without Borders on the pedestrian deck while heading to the supermarket to pick up some ramen for our lunch.

One of the campaign members engaged us in conversation, and I took the opportunity to stop and talk to him. To my disappointment, this campaign member mentioned that he had never encountered anyone from the organization who had been dispatched overseas, as he was relatively new to the association.

This made me realize that finding a contact within the organization might be challenging. However, I’m determined to network with people working at Doctors Without Borders in the future.

My ultimate goal is to become a part of their team and be involved in overseas missions. To achieve this goal, I’m committed to taking proactive steps. This includes continuing to study English, which is crucial, and making sure to present myself as a strong candidate when the opportunity arises.

To be continued.
