Taking a Scenic Ride: Experiencing the New Tram System in My City

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

I took a tram that had recently started operating in my city.

Up until then, it had been too crowded for me to ride it with my son. In fact, when we arrived at the station yesterday, we saw a long line of people waiting for the tram, and it was still quite crowded.

So, I decided to take the tram before heading to the train platform. To my surprise, the tram was almost empty, and we sat at the back, just behind the driver. From there, we enjoyed the scenery just behind the driver’s seat.

However, one thing I noticed about the tram is that it can be a bit more precarious compared to trains. This is because the tram occasionally applies the brakes abruptly due to cars and pedestrians unfamiliar with the tram system.

I had to be cautious about holding onto a strap during the tram ride, as there was a risk of falling if it suddenly stopped. Nonetheless, trams are very convenient for short rides, especially because they have many stops along the route.

To be continued.
