今日は出社しての作業。お昼休みに炎天下の中を散歩していると、ロードバイクで颯爽と駆け抜ける集団を見た。
It was an extremely hot day, and I spent the day working at the office. During my lunch break, I observed a road bike team swiftly cycling through the city.
炎天下だけれども、天気がいい中を自転車で駆け抜けるのはとても気持ちいいだろうなと思う。なにより、平日のみんなが仕事をしている東京を駆け抜けるのがまたいい！
Despite the scorching weather, they seemed to be enjoying themselves. The idea of cycling through the Tokyo metropolitan area on weekdays, when most office workers are busy, felt ideal.
わたしもFIREしたらやりたいと強く思った。なので、FIREしたらやりたいことリストにロードバイクでのツーリングを加えた。
Once I achieve financial independence (FIRE), I plan to adopt a similar activity. I’ve even added a road bike tour to my budget considerations.
自分でメンテナンスをした自転車で駆け抜けるのが今から楽しみである。
I’m excited about the prospect of maintaining and riding my bicycle.
せっかくならチームに入って、遠征や大会にも出てみたい。ああ～FIREが待ち遠しい。
Joining a cycling team and participating in long rides and competitions with fellow members is also on my agenda. I’m eagerly looking forward to reaching my FIRE goal as soon as possible.
