今日は明日の京都でのプロジェクトマネジメントの勉強会のために、前乗りである。
To attend the project management study session in Kyoto, I decided to arrive a night earlier at the location.
今回はオフライン開催ということで、せっかくのチャンスなので、他の参加者と会う時間を作るために行ってきた。
Since this month’s session was held in-person, I saw this as an opportunity to meet the participants face-to-face.
昼間のうちに新幹線で移動した。こういうときにリモートワークは助かる。べつに家で仕事をしようが、新幹線で移動しながらしようが、知ったことではない。
I took the daytime Shinkansen to travel to Kyoto, taking advantage of the flexibility of remote work. This working style is quite adaptable for such situations, and I find myself comfortable working from various places like home or even on the Shinkansen.
おかげで、仕事中に移動して夕方に現地でメンバーと食事をいっしょにできた。
Thanks to this arrangement, I was able to travel during my working hours, reaching my destination in the evening. After arriving, I joined some of the session members for drinks.
これから、出張が頻発するようであれば、持ち運びができるモニターがほしい。2-3万円で買えるので金額的には問題ないが、持ち運ぶものが増えるのが難点。正直、これ以上、持ち物を増やしたくない。どうしようか迷う。
While on the Shinkansen, I’m considering purchasing a portable display if I find myself on business trips more frequently. The cost, ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 yen, doesn’t seem prohibitive. However, I’m contemplating whether it’s worth adding another item to my business travel essentials. Honestly, I’m a bit hesitant about accumulating more items to carry around. The decision to buy it or not is something I’m carefully considering.
