先月の配当金の総額を整理した。
I organized the total dividends I received last month.
これまで、ドルでもらっている配当金を1ドル100円で計算していたが、円安が続いているため、配当金が振り込まれる月の月末のレートで計算し直した。
In the past, I used a fixed exchange rate of 100 yen per US dollar for easy understanding. But this time, I used the actual exchange rate at the end of the month when I received the dividends, considering the yen depreciation.
すると、月額4万円くらいだと思っていた今回の配当金は、実際には5.5万円となり大幅アップとなった。
Initially, I estimated the total dividends for last month to be around 40,000 yen. However, to my surprise, the actual amount was 55,000 yen, exceeding my expectations.
月5万円を超えていると、インパクトも全く変わってくる。なぜなら、昨日の旅行分を支払ったとしても、まだ余っているからである。
When the dividends crossed the 50,000 yen mark, it changed my perception. I now have some extra money after covering all the expenses from yesterday’s trip.
つまり、昨日のような小旅行が毎月行けるということ。これは精神的に非常にうれしいし、もっといろいろなことにチャレンジしてみたくなる。
This means I can go on a one-day trip every month, which makes me very excited and motivated to take on more challenges.
