今日は、リモートワークを使って、お昼休みをずらして幼稚園の見学に行ってきた。
I worked from home today and took the opportunity to visit a nearby kindergarten during my lunch break with my family.
今日行った場所は、自宅から最寄りの幼稚園である。わたしが子供の頃からある幼稚園だが、数年前に建て替えを行い、とてもキレイな建物になっていた。
The kindergarten we visited has been around since I was a child, but they recently renovated their buildings, so everything looks clean and new.
幼稚園の隣をこの前乗ってきたローカル線が走っていることから、電車が好きな長男にはとてもよい環境だと思う。
It’s a great environment for my son because the local train we rode last weekend runs right next to the kindergarten. Since he loves trains, I know he’ll enjoy it.
見学も、はじめのうちこそ、妻に抱っこされていたが、途中から自分で歩くようになり、園児が園庭で遊び始めると、それに混ざって一緒に遊んでいた。
At the beginning of the tour, my son wanted his mom to carry him, but he soon started walking around the kindergarten on his own. And when the students went outside to play, he joined them on the playground.
人見知りを気にしていたが、親の杞憂であった。場所的にもいいし、通うにはとてもいいと思う。
We were initially worried that he might be shy, but our concerns turned out to be unnecessary. He had a great time. Overall, we think this kindergarten is a good choice because it’s conveniently located near our apartment and offers a favorable environment for our son.
