今日は最寄り駅から出ているローカル線でイベントがあったので、午前中の散歩のときに見に行ってきた。
I attended a local event held today for the train line near my station, and I took my son with me.
有名人もいて、声だけは聞こえたが、人が多くて肉眼で見られなかった。
There were invited celebrities who gave speeches, but we couldn’t see them well due to the large crowd.
その後、３ヶ月に１回の歯医者へ行くのに、そのローカル線を使って行ってきた。
After the event, we took the train to go to my dentist for our regular checkup.
イベントの影響で混んでいたものの、そこまでの混雑ではなく、マスクなしで乗っている人も多数いて、少しずつ今までの生活が戻ってきた。
Although the train was slightly crowded due to the event, it was not as packed as trains in Tokyo. I noticed that many people on the train were not wearing masks, which made me feel like life was returning to normal before the COVID-19 pandemic.
帰りは、同じく電車に乗って、自宅までの道中に弁当を買って帰った。いつもなら、そのままわたしの実家に行くところであったが、両親が風邪を引いているというので、今回は延期になった。
On our way back home, we took the same train line and stopped at a department store to pick up lunch boxes. Usually, after the dental checkup, we would visit my parent’s house, but we couldn’t go today as they are currently ill.
