I decided to work from home for the sake of my health.
とはいえ、コルセットのおかげで腰の調子はだいぶよい。座っていても痛くない。
Thanks to the back brace, my condition has improved and the pain in my back has decreased. I can now sit on a chair without feeling any discomfort.
おかげで、生活に支障がないレベルになってきた。仕事は立ってできるが、洗濯だったり、食器を洗ったりができるようになったので、仕事終わりに部屋の片づけをした。
The reduced pain has allowed me to carry on with my daily activities without any hindrance. I can work while standing using my standing desk, as well as do household chores such as laundry and washing dishes. In fact, I took the opportunity to clean my house.

While going through the items I had ordered online and checking my mailbox, I came across a brochure for an international kindergarten that I had requested earlier.
もともと、場所が遠いのは知っていたので、それは覚悟していた。しかし、幼稚園バスに乗るためのバス停までも、自宅から歩いて10分以上かかるのが判明。通わせるべきかちょっと迷ってきた。
Although I was already aware that the kindergarten is quite far from our house, I have now realized that the bus stop for the school bus is more than a 10-minute walk away. This has led me to reconsider whether or not we should enroll our son in that kindergarten.
