今日は、いっしょにブログを始めた友人と食事に行ってきた。
I had lunch with a friend who, like me, started writing blogs.
彼はすでにブログは止めているし、わたしも最近はほとんど更新していない。やりたいと考えているが、どうしても筆が進まない。ホントに何かを愚直に続けるというのは、とても大変である。
However, both of us have stopped updating our pages and haven’t been motivated to write posts. I find it difficult to consistently stick to one activity for a prolonged period of time.
そして、彼は今でもUber Eatsの配達員を続けているとのこと。はじめは自転車でやっていた配達も、いまはバイクに変えたそう。
While my friend initially started as a bicycle delivery person for Uber Eats, he now delivers using a bike.
ただ、最近では、クルマで配達している人も増え、今月から配達するクルマへの法規制が緩和されるので、さらに増えることが予想されているらしい。
Interestingly, there has been an increase in the number of delivery drivers using cars. Moreover, with the recent easing of regulations for car deliveries, it is expected that the number of car-based delivery drivers will continue to rise.
配達１つをとっても、いろいろ状況が変化するんだなと思った。
Even in something as seemingly simple as food delivery, the trends and circumstances have undergone changes.
