昨夕から体調が悪くなり、朝になっても熱が下がらなかったので、会社を休んだ。
I fell ill last night and had a fever this morning, so I decided to take a day off from work.
コロナではないことは検査キットで確認し、病院に行ってみると、インフルエンザではないかというので、それも確認してみた。
I used a test kit to check for COVID-19, and fortunately, the result came back negative. I also visited a clinic to test for the flu.
結果は陰性で、結局はただの風邪。仕事どころではないので休みをもらった。
Since the test result was negative, it seems that I only have a common cold. However, I don’t feel well enough to work, so I took the day off.
試用期間中で有給休暇はないものの、病欠休暇があるので、それを使わせてもらえて助かった。でないと、欠勤扱いになってしまうところだった。
Since I am still in my probationary period, I don’t have paid vacation days. However, I am able to use sick leave. Otherwise, my salary would be deducted for today.
昼間、自宅で寝ていると、長男が寝室に入ってきたりで落ち着かないので、そのまま実家に帰って終日を過ごした。
Since I don’t think I can get proper rest at home, I went to my parents’ house to recuperate.
