Preparations for My Upcoming Job

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

I have made preparations for my upcoming job, which will begin in two days.

One important task was to purchase new dress shirts since all of my old ones had worn out. I visited several clothing stores in search of suitable shirts for the week.

While I found the dress shirts at Uniqlo to be somewhat expensive, those sold at department stores were even pricier. I came across a dress shirt that cost over 20,000 yen. Although my salary has increased with this job change, it was still beyond my budget. Consequently, I decided to purchase the shirts at Uniqlo.

Additionally, I visited a shoe shop to have my formal shoes repaired, as they had been causing discomfort in my feet. However, the clerk informed me that the repairs would take about a week, which posed a problem since I needed to wear them in just two days. I decided to postpone the repairs until after I start working at the new company.

If I find myself needing to wear formal shoes regularly, it may be a good idea to invest in a new pair. My current pair is quite old, and now would be an opportune time to replace them.

To be continued.
