You can hear the voice recording for the diary.
I had lunch with my ex-co-worker today, who recently returned from a business trip to Egypt.
During our conversation, he shared his current challenges working at a Japanese company.
He mentioned that despite being a manager, he finds himself having to handle tasks such as creating business trip reports and training his staff, which keeps him busy.
Additionally, the company’s rules and procedures for overseas work are incomplete as the department was just established. While he expressed his desire to invite me to work with him, the necessary preparations haven’t been completed yet.
As for myself, I am not currently ready to make a job change since I will be starting a new position at a different company in April. My plan is to gain experience and learn new skills at my new company before considering the possibility of working with him in a few years.
To be continued.
