You can hear the voice recording for the diary.
We conducted the final monthly inspection with the owner, which marked the end of my involvement in the project.
The inspection didn’t reveal any changes from the previous ones.
However, I believe it was a mistake not to disclose the shortage of rack materials that we discovered yesterday. Although the shortage may be relatively small and manageable, we are now faced with the challenge of hundreds of materials being insufficient, requiring us to purchase them from the Chinese manufacturer.
I have serious doubts about our ability to complete the work as scheduled, let alone receive the additional materials in time for the project’s completion. Since the owner was present at the site, we should have informed them about the issue through their leader. They might have provided us with some solutions.
Either way, the truth will inevitably come to light, and the owner will undoubtedly be furious. We should make an announcement while simultaneously implementing countermeasures. I firmly believe that promptly sharing information is crucial for driving the project forward.
To be continued.
