現場での仕事最終日、いつもの先輩との一献である。
Today was my last day working at the site, and I went out for drinks with a co-worker.
離れてしまうのはとても寂しいが、そのままこの会社に残っていては成長がないというのは、双方がわかっていることなので、仕方ない。
Although I feel a sense of sadness knowing that I won’t be working with him anymore, we both understand that staying at the company wouldn’t allow us to grow and improve. It’s just the way things are.
また次回、会えることを信じて連絡先を交換した。そして、最後のお酒を楽しんだ。
I believe that we will keep in touch and see each other again. We had a great time drinking and exchanged contact information.
やはり、気が合う仲間と飲むお酒が一番おいしい。別に、奢ってくれなくてもいい。自分が信頼できる人と一緒にご飯食べて仕事ができることが一番幸せだと思う。
There’s something special about having drinks with close friends. Money doesn’t matter much to me. I find the most happiness in being able to work and share meals with people I trust.
次の会社でも、そんな人を見つけたい。そして、その人について行けるように自分も成長したい!
My goal is to find those kinds of people at my next company. I also want to become the kind of person they would want to follow and rely on.
