今日はこれまでの出張精算を行うために会社に行ってきた。
Today, I worked at the office to settle my business trip expenses.
とはいえ、午後は会議が目白押しだったので、午前中のうちに片づけ、昼休みのうちに帰ってきた。
In the afternoon, I had several meetings, so I focused on completing the task in the morning and returned home during my lunch break.
往復の新幹線の中では、仕事が手につかなかった。流れる景色の中で、今の会社に転職してからのことを思い返していた。
During the train ride, I didn’t engage in any work and instead reflected on my journey with the current company, gazing at the passing scenery.
まだ１年も経っていないのに、ずっと長い時間を過ごしてきたかのように感じる。まるで、いま目の前を流れる景色のように、新しい人間関係、新しい仕事に一生懸命ぶつかってきた。大変だったけど、楽しかったし、転職してよかったと思っている。
Despite being employed for less than a year, it feels like I’ve been here much longer. The memories and experiences have become vivid, akin to the scenery right before my eyes. I faced challenges in building new relationships and adapting to my work environment, but despite the difficulties, I found joy in the journey. Leaving my previous company was the right decision without a doubt.
ただ、わたしは次の会社で新たなステップを踏み出すことを決めた。次のチャレンジもベストを尽くしたい。
As a result, I have decided to embark on the next phase of my career with another company. I will continue to give my best effort as I always have.
