I received an update from my recruitment consultant regarding the outcome of yesterday’s interview.
It turns out that the decision is currently on hold.
The consultant explained to me that they will finalize their hiring decision after another candidate undergoes an interview with an engineer in Germany, similar to my own interview.
I must admit that I didn’t feel very confident during the interview, as my English-speaking skills weren’t as strong as I had hoped. Now, I have no choice but to wait for their decision.
Although a friend of mine reassured me that I shouldn’t worry too much, comparing a job interview to a formal marriage interview and emphasizing the importance of compatibility, I still have a strong desire to join the company. Making it to this stage of the interview process has been a significant achievement for me.
I truly value the opportunity to work with individuals whom I respect, just as I did with my previous coworkers and colleagues in Egypt. Working alongside such people has always allowed me to gain knowledge and experience while fostering a greater enthusiasm for my work. Based on my past experiences, I have witnessed firsthand how this type of environment can contribute to personal growth.
To be continued.
