今日から出張でホテルにチェックインすると、全国旅行支援での予約になっていなかったのが、フロントで明らかになり、お食事券をもらうことができなかった。
Today, while on a business trip, I discovered that my hotel reservation did not qualify for the national travel assistance program at the reception. As a result, I was unable to receive a coupon for dinner.
予約画面では、旅行支援の文字があったと記憶しているが、どうやら登録を間違えたらしい。
I distinctly remember seeing that the reservation was eligible for the program when I made it online. It appears that I made an error during the reservation process, which is disappointing.
ホテル代は会社持ちなので、高くなっても関係ないが、クーポンがもらえないのが残念。せっかく、ラーメン屋に行けるチャンスだったのに、ショックが大きかった。
Although the increased room charge wouldn’t affect me personally since it will be covered by my company, I’m still disappointed about not receiving the dinner coupon. It would have been a great opportunity to enjoy a free meal at a ramen shop.
普通に自腹を切ってまでいこうとは思わなかったので、これまで通り近くのスーパーで食材を買ってホテルで食べた。
Since I didn’t want to pay for ramen out of my own pocket, I decided to go to the nearby supermarket and purchase some groceries instead.
予約したときから楽しみにしていたラーメン屋でお腹いっぱいになることができず、出張の先行き不安を感じた。
I had been looking forward to having ramen ever since I made the reservation, so this turn of events left me feeling anxious about my business trip.
