今日からまた現場へ出張である。１か月ぶりに現場事務所に行ってみると、現場では雪が降っていて、今シーズン初めて雪を見た。
I will be embarking on a business trip to a site that will last until this Thursday. It has been a month since my last visit, and coincidentally, it started snowing during this trip. The site crew members informed me that it was the first snowfall of the season.
現場事務所で作業していても、すきま風が入ってきて、寒かった。
While working in the site office, I couldn’t help but notice the cold drafts.
ただ１つよかったところは、事務所の水道管の凍結対策のために、暖房を24時間つけっぱなしにしていることである。
Fortunately, the heater was left on for 24 hours to prevent the water pipes from freezing, which was a positive aspect.
出張中は、わたしが１番はじめに出社するので、暖房を点けなければならなかった。
Since I am the first person to arrive at the site office during my business trip, I had the responsibility of turning on the heater.
しかし、これからは、極寒の中で作業しなくてもよくなったので、それは助かった。
However, going forward, I won’t have to endure working in an extremely cold office early in the morning, which is a relief.
