昨日、靴が壊れてしまったので、実家に行く途中に新しい靴を買った。
Since my shoes broke yesterday, I bought a pair of new shoes on the way to my parent’s house.
予定通り、ONというメーカーの靴を買った。当該メーカーの靴は足幅が少し狭く設計された靴で、自分に合うのはワイドモデルで値段が高いものしかなかった。
I got shoes made by a manufacturer called ‘on’ as I planned. I had to choose one of their expensive wide models since the width of their merchandise is a little narrow.
結果して15,000円もするものになってしまった。高い靴を買った分、しっかり元を取るために、歩きに行きたいと思う。
As a result, the shoes I bought were 15,000 yen. I will go for a walk more often to get my money’s worth.
その後、実家へ行ってみんなで年越しそばを食べた。今回は一品持ち寄りのポットラック形式で、我が家からはギョーザを持参。
After that, we went to my parent’s house and had new year’s eve noodles with my whole family. We brought gyoza because this party was a potluck-style gathering.
そばだけでなく、ギョーザや妹家族が持ってきたサラダ、兄家族が持ってきたデザートで久しぶりの家族団らんの食事を満喫することができた。
We were able to eat traditional soba as well as a chicken salad which my sister’s family made, and a lovely cake which my brother’s family brought.
