完全にわたしの思いを退職へ決断させる出来事が起こった。
An event that made me certain about resigning happened.
上司が就業時間を待たずに帰ってしまった。周りに確認すると、週末のマラソン大会のための練習だという。
My boss left the office before the end of the working hours. I heard from my colleagues that he is going to practise for a marathon this weekend.
今日中に出さなければいけない週報が終わっていないのにである。なにより許せないのが、ついさっきまで現場で話し合いをして、その結論として、なにも対策がされていないことである。
We had to submit a weekly report to the owner today. What I couldn’t forgive him for was that we had to come up with an idea and take measures for the issue by talking with the site crew members up until now.
結局、そういったケツを拭くのはこっちの仕事。いい加減、嫌気が差した。
Eventually, cleaning up the mess became my task—I’m sick of his behaviour.
今日から退職する日までは、自分に火の粉が飛んできたら払いのけるのを一心に仕事をしていくことにする。
Until I resigned from this position, I decided to stay away from the troubles of work as much as I could.
