今日は部内のWeekly MeetingにてPJのアップデートを報告する日である。
Today’s weekly meeting at my department was to report on the progress of each member’s project.
資料は英語で作成するルールになっているが、発表するときの言語に制限はない。
Although the presentation material needed to be written in English, there’s no rule for speaking in any specific languages.
なので、英語で説明をしようと思い前日の夜から練習してきたが、英語がうまく話せず全然発表できるレベルではない。
I practised explaining it in English last night, however, I wasn’t able to reach the level for the English explanation.
改めて自分の無力さを痛感。英語でプレゼンする場合には、説明をするための原稿がないとムリだということがわかった。
I’m upset by my own uselessness. I realised that I had to make a script for an English presentation.
今後のためにも、次回の報告会では英語で説明ができるよう、きちんと原稿を作って臨みたい。
For my future, I will make a script beforehand for the next meeting to explain my project updates.
