今日はサイトメンバーとの忘年会であるが、わたしはスルーした。
Even though the year-end party was held among the site crew members, I didn’t attend it.
先月も同じメンバーと飲んだばかりだし、そもそもお酒を一緒に飲みたいメンバーでもない。
I had drinks with them a month ago and didn’t want to go with them in the first place.
会社から補助が出て、安く飲み食いができるが、それでも時間がもったいないので、不参加にしてもらい、代わりにサイトでよく面倒をみてくれる人といっしょに２人で忘年会をした。
Even though the company gave us an allowance for the party, I didn’t attend it since I didn’t want to waste my time. I had drinks with my colleague who has taken care of me instead.
全国旅行支援のクーポンが8,000円分あったので、それを使って豪勢な食事を食べることができた。
As I got a few ¥8,000 coupons from the national travel assistance program, we had a nice meal using them.
多少、自腹を切ってでも、有意義な時間を過ごしたいと思うので、大満足である。
Even if I paid out of my pocket, I want to spend my time productively so I’m satisfied with it.
