今日は工事現場で働く社員からなんでも押し付けるのではなく、もっと現場の意見をくみ取ってほしい、とのクレームがあった。
I had complaints from the site crews that they have been requested to work out of the scope of the site, specifically complaints about not pushing tasks on to them.
わたしとしては、積極的に彼らの意見を聞いていると思っているし、現場に無理難題を強いているつもりは全くない。
If I could make myself an exception, I have been listening to the ideas from the site proactively and have never given impossible tasks to them.
彼らとしても状況を上に報告しているというので、直接現場の社員を束ねる部長へ直談判をして、話を聞くことを約束してもらった。
As they also have been reporting to their boss, I negotiated personally with their director and made an appointment with him.
部門を超えて、上長に直接意見を物申すのは初めての行為であるが、その一方でやり方に褒めてくれる仲間もいてくれたのが、うれしかった。
This was the first time speaking to a different director across departments. On the other hand, I was glad that some members supported me.
あさって、話をきくときが楽しみである。
