先週末に現場でいろいろとトラブルが発生し、週末の間に現場出向を上司から打診された。
Due to the troubles that happened at the site last weekend, I was invited to visit the site next week.
しかし、わたしはそれを拒絶した。
But I refused this offer.
というのも、現場では先週コロナ感染が落ち着いたばかりで、まだ完全に可能性が無くなったわけではないためである。
Before replying to my boss, I confirmed the situation of the COVID-19 infection with the site crews and it had only just settled down last week. I was worried about the possibility of infection by visitation.
我が家には子供がいるため、余計なリスクはとりたくない。
I wanted to avoid unnecessary risks for my family, especially my baby.
あと、あんまり上司といっしょにいたくないという理由もある。
And unofficially, I don’t want to be around my boss recently.
