妹が退院したというので、実家に集まって話を聞いてきた。
My family and my sister’s family got together at my parent’s house since my sister left the hospital.
手術は無事に成功し、何事もなく退院できたとのことで一安心。
I was relieved that my sister’s surgery ended without incident.
そして今回からは、両親の提案で夕方開催となった。
This event was held in the evening because it was my mother’s preference.
移動手段として、とくに考えもせずカーシェアを予約したが、よく考えてみるとタクシーのほうが都合がよい。
I made a reservation for a car for transportation, as usual, I realised that while driving the vehicle that I should have called a cab.
夜の運転だし、チャイルドシートなどの準備を考えると多少高くともタクシーのほうがコスパがいい。
There are 2 reasons I think getting a cab is better. The first is a safety issue since driving at night is kind of dangerous and the second is that it has become easier. Taking into consideration preparing things like a child seat, calling a cab is reasonable even if it costs more than a car-sharing service.
