今日は東京へ行く日であったが、台風により中止した。
I cancelled my trip to Tokyo due to a Typhoon.
せっかくフリー切符や乗りたかった特急列車のきっぷも購入したのに残念である。
I already bought an unlimited train pass and reserved a seat for an express train that I wanted to ride on, but it can’t be helped.
仕方なく家にいたが、大して作業も進まなかった。
Even though I stayed at home all day, I wasn’t able to work on my side hustle very hard.
そのうえ、台風が過ぎ去る間、そこまで風雨は強くなく、電車などの大きな運休もなかった。
Furthermore, since the weather including the wind was not really heavy, the train service wasn’t suspended even though the typhoon hadn’t passed.
特急券は数百円の損なので気にならないが、フリーきっぷは3,000円近くするので、無駄にしないために翌日に使う計画を立てた。
I don’t care about the loss of the money for the reserved ticket because it was a few hundred yen, but the train pass cost 3,000 yen. I made a plan to use the pass tomorrow so I don’t waste it.
