Miso-flavoured Spaghetti Aglio e olio

今日も自宅でリモートワーク、少し早めに上がれたので晩ごはんに凝ってみた。

I also worked from home today and spent the time cooking for dinner since I finished the work an hour earlier than yesterday.

 

作ってみたのは、みそ味のペペロンチーノ。

Today’s meal was miso-flavoured spaghetti Aglio e olio.

 

通常であれば、味付けには塩やしょうゆ、コンソメを入れるが、今日はあえて味噌でチャレンジ。

Originally, the spaghetti would be flavoured with salt, soy sauce or consomme, however, I tried it with Japanese miso.

 

味噌ラーメンが好きだから、これも絶対に気にいるはずと思ったのがその理由。

The reason I came up with the idea to use miso was that I thought that because I like Miso Ramen I would like the flavour of Japanese miso in the spaghetti.

 

結果は悪くない。

It was not bad except for one thing.

 

ただ入れるべき味噌の量がわからず、味がなかなか決まらなかった。

The one thing was how much time it took to decide how much miso should be added to the pasta.

 

そこは新たな課題である。

If I can solve this problem, I can use it in my favourite recipes.
