来週の同窓会に参加するに当たり、それだけのために都内に出るのはもったいないので、以前お世話になった人と会えないか連絡してみた。
I think that going to Tokyo to attend the reunion party next week will be a waste of my money. So, I contacted some of my ex-colleagues living in the Tokyo area to see them earlier than that day.
１人目に一昨日連絡してみたが、一向に返事が来ず既読にもならないので、再度連絡をしてみた。
Firstly, one of them hadn’t even read my message yet even though I sent it to him 2 days ago and I followed up with the same message to him the other today.
せっかくならば、目的をいくつか作って参加するかを検討したい。
Since I will spend money to go to Tokyo, I might as well have a few more reasons to visit in addition to attending the reunion.
同窓会はリモートでも参加可能なので、先輩と会う都合がつかなかったら、リモートでの参加に切り替えてもらおうと思う。
As I’m able to attend it online, I will change my participation if I can’t see any one I’m asking to.
